Kellie Clements
Kellie Clements, an Edmond interior designer and 2011 HGTV Design Star Fan Favorite, will be our special guest.
Selecting interior design was an easy choice for Kellie. Both her parents are artists who encouraged her to mix paints and get creative in their art studio. She graduated with an interior design degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2001 before relocating to Oklahoma. It was her parents’ influence, coupled with her education and experience that have helped her achieve success, but also her innate creative talents.
Kellie describes her design style as “warm contemporary” – using lots of color and whimsical touches. She likes to create spaces that as if they were put together over time and lived in, rather than copied from a showroom. Her passion goes beyond the paint on the walls- it’s the people that live inside the walls that make her work so special.
Kellie will share her heartwarming story about how a life-threatening accident and her faith prompted her to chase her dreams. This energetic mother of two will also discuss her Design Star experience, her life after the show and a few secrets on creating warm comfortable spaces in your own home.
